The PSSSB has announced the number of vacancies for recruitment against the Group C positions. There are a total number of 159 vacancies; the post-wise number of positions is listed below.
- Hostel Superintendent-cum-PTI (Department of Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities): 68
- Storekeeper (Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training): 62
- Librarian (Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training): 3
- Junior Technician – Civil (Department of Transport): 21
- Junior Technician – Electrical (Department of Transport): 3
- Machine / Autoclave Operator (Department of Transport): 2
Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the PSSSB Group C Recruitment 2025, it is mandatory that you meet the educational qualification and age limit given below.
Hostel Superintendent-cum-PTI
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed 10+2.
- Must possess one of the following physical education qualifications:
- C.P.Ed (Certificate in Physical Education)
- D.P.Ed (Diploma in Physical Education)
- B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education)
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
Storekeeper
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed Class 10.
- Must hold an ITI or diploma in a technical/engineering trade such as mechanical, fitter, electrical, etc.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in inventory or store operations.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
Librarian
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, or Diploma in Library Science from a recognised institute.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
Junior Technician (Civil)
Educational Qualification:
- ITI, NTC (National Trade Certificate), or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
Junior Technician (Electrical)
Educational Qualification:
- ITI, NTC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institution.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
Machine / Autoclave Operator
Educational Qualification:
- ITI or Trade Certificate related to machine/autoclave operation, or
- Relevant hands-on work experience in machine operation.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 37 years.
The age relaxation is applicable for 5 years for Scheduled Caste or Backward Class. There is an additional 10 years of relaxation.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the PSSSB Group C Recruitment 2025, the payment of the application fee is mandatory. For a candidate who belongs to UR, the payable amount is ₹1,000; individuals who belong to SC, BC, and EWS need to pay only ₹250.
The application fee from the ex-showroom and dependent is ₹200, and the one who belongs to a person with a disability is required to pay ₹500. Your application form for this recruitment drive will be accepted only if you pay the required amount by the due date.
Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment consists of two stages, which include a written exam and a document verification. Those who apply for this recruitment will be called for the first stage, and after clearing it, they have to participate in the second one.
The final selection list for appointment will take place based on performance in the written exam. On the day of document verification, shortlisted candidates will have to carry the original and Xerox copies of all required documents for appointment.
