Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to apply for CGPSC SSE 2026 are available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
- Nationality: A citizen of India and resides in any state or UT.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in subject from a university recognised by the UGC.
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years, except for the DSP position; for this position, the upper age limit is 28 years.

Note that the measurement of chest isn’t applicable for the female aspirants.
Application Fee
The payment of the application fee isn’t required in the case of applying for CGPSC SSE 2025 if you are a resident of Chhattisgarh. Individuals who are not domiciled in the CG are required to deposit the amount of ₹400.
If you are entitled to pay the application fee, which you need to deposit by the due date of December 30, 2025, you have to pay it using the debit card, credit card, NET banking, UPI or any other provided payment gateway.

Exam Date
The organisation has announced the exam date for the CGPSC State Service Examination 2025. The preliminary exam will take place on February 22, 2026, and the main examination will be administered from May 16 to 19, 2026.
Selection Process
The selection process for the different positions advertised under the CGPSC SSE 2025 consists of three stages, which are Prelims, Mains and Interview. They will prepare the final selection based on performance in the last stage of the selection process.
