- On the homepage, you will see an option that reads ‘Application Status’. Tap on it and go to the next page.
- Choose the academic year 2025-26, and fill in your application ID, password and Captcha, and then click on the Login button to access the dashboard.
- After logging in to NSP, you will successfully have checked at what stage your scholarship application has reached.
What are the stages of the NSP Scholarship 2025?
On checking the NSP Scholarship 2025 application status, you will get to see if it is ‘Application Submitted’, ‘Verified by Institute’, ‘Verified by District, State, Ministry & Nodal Officer’, ‘Application Sent to PFMS for Payment’, ‘Payment Under Process’ or ‘Payment Success’. Their meaning are:
- Application Submitted: It means you have successfully applied for this benefit, and the application verification procedure will start very soon.
- Verified by Institution: It means your college or school has accepted your application after reviewing your documents.
- Verified by District, State, Ministry & Nodal Officer: It means your application for scholarship has been accepted by the higher official, and you are found eligible to get the benefit.
- Application Sent to PFMS for Payment: It means your application has been forwarded to the Public Financial Management System for the scholarship benefit payment.
- Payment Under Process: It means the scholarship payment is still under process by the bank.
- Payment Success: It means the payment is sent by the bank, and the applicant has received it.
Note that once the NSP Scholarship 2025 application is verified by the District, State, Ministry and Nodal Officer, it is certain that your scholarship payment will be received without any delay.
What if the NSP Scholarship 2025 application is rejected?
If your NSP Scholarship 2025 application status is rejected, you won’t get the scholarship. There is no provision to resubmit with corrections once it is rejected. If the application for the academic year 2025-26 is rejected, you have to wait for the next academic year to apply and get the scholarship benefit.
When to expect the NSP Scholarship 2025 payment?

You can check whether your bank account is seeded with your Aadhaar or not by logging in to the UIDAI portal. If you find it isn’t, then in this situation you should go to your bank branch and get it done as soon as possible, because if this is not done, then your payment may get unexpectedly delayed.
