T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule: Full Match Dates, Venues & Teams Revealed!

T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule: Full Match Dates, Venues & Teams Revealed!

The International Cricket Council recently released the schedule for the T20 World Cup, which is going to take place in 2026. The matches will be played between February and March 2026 at different locations in two countries. 

A total of 20 teams are part of this tournament; the host countries are India and Sri Lanka. A total of 55 matches will be played among the teams, which includes the ground stage, the super eights, and the knockout stage.

What’s the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup schedule?

The ICC has released the schedule for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup; the first match is all set to play on February 7, and the final is going to take place on March 8. The schedule for group stage matches, all set to be played between 7 and 20 February, is available below:

The Super Eight matches will be played between 21 February and 8 March, and then the semifinals will take place on 4 and 5 March, followed by the final on 8 March.

What are the venues of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup?

The venues for the 2026 Men’s ICC T20 World Cup are announced. There are a total of eight venues, out of which five are in India and three in Sri Lanka. They are:

The Pakistan matches will be held in Sri Lanka. If they reach the semi-final or final, the venue will be Colombo; if they don’t, then the semi-final will take place in Kolkata and the final will be played in Ahmedabad.

What are the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup teams?

A total of twenty teams are part of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. They are divided into four groups. They are:

Out of the total teams, 2 are the host countries, 7 come from the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup, 3 from ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings, 1 from the Americas Qualifier, 2 from the Europe Qualifier, 2 from the Africa Qualifier, and 3 from the Asia–EAP Qualifier.
